Meet Dr. Katelyn Pan

The Professional Side

Dr. Katelyn Pan graduated with High Honors (summa cum laude), ranking at the top of the 2021 Doctor of Dental Medicine class at Boston University. As one of the highest honorees, she received the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award (OKU) and was inducted into the National Dental OKU Honor Society. While at BUGSDM, she served as president of the Boston University Chapter and was elected deputy commissioner of New England’s District 1 of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). The faculty selected her as a Fellow of the Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program (ADCFP) and also as an active member of the ADEA Council of Students, Residents, and Fellows (COSRF).

Dr. Katelyn is also the recipient of the 2021 Outstanding Research Award—Best Abstract at Boston University Medical Campus McCahan Educational Day. Immediately after graduating from Boston University, she attended the prestigious postdoctoral orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics specialty program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.

The Personal Side

Outside the office, Dr. Katelyn brings creativity and energy to everything she does. A former competitive dancer, opera singer, and alpine ski racer, she continues to pursue her passions when she can, but she spends most of her free time baking treats for friends and family. A true Bostonian at heart, she especially loves rooting for the Bruins and Red Sox.
